The project Acedia by French photographer Louise Desnos is a visual exploration of laziness, fatigue and intimacy. The artist praises laziness, a concept often disparaged in our contemporary societies. Her sensitive and contemplative images highlight non-events. Laziness, embodied by the models, represents a rejection of life as it is given to us, a search for freedom, or a space for introspection.
