Echoing the most popular coffee order in Switzerland, Café Crème is a pop-up venue hosted by Pro Helvetia as part of the opening week of the Rencontres de la photographie d’Arles. Designed to facilitate discussion and encounter, the space showcases the contemporary Swiss scene at one of the world’s leading international photography festivals. Café Crème is an initiative by Pro Helvetia in collaboration with Swiss photography institutions and associations: Centre de la photographie Genève, Photoforum Pasquart, near, pool collective, Transbordeur, Photo Elysée, Kunsthaus Glarus, Centre culturel suisse, Edition Patrick Frey, Images Vevey, Ciao Press.
Café Crème is located at 15 Rue Gambetta, 13200 Arles. The café is open from 6 to 11 July from 9:30 to 17:00 and hosts a series of public events throughout the week. The full programme is available on the website of Pro Helvetia.
