Laurence Bonvin * 1967 in Sierre, lives in Berlin et Genève

Laurence Bonvin is a contemporary Swiss photographer.

Between 1988 and 1991, she studied at the École nationale supérieure de la photographie d’Arles. Since 2002, she has been teaching photography at the ecal, University of Art and Design, Lausanne.

Her photographic work focuses on peri-urban territories and phenomena, notions such as periphery, urban sprawl, gated communities, suburbs through the genres of landscape, portrait, daily scenes and architectural details.
