Morgane Paillard will share her experience as a curator working with a number of institutions and organisations in Switzerland, and discuss the specific issues involved in running a commercial gallery. Among the questions that the talk will address are: what is the role of a gallery and how does it support an artist's work and career? On what criteria do a gallery and an artist choose to collaborate? What type of artist tends to be represented in a gallery? How does a gallery work economically? How can artists interested in collaborating with a gallery get in touch with it?
